Hello Google user, thanks for your question and welcome to the forum.

Your Google Voice account can not be deleted (you can delete call logs, voicemai, recordings, everything contained in your account but you can't delete the Google Voice account itself) but if you truly don't need your Google Voice account and number anymore, you can disable Google Voice and delete your Google number, or disable your Google Voice account but abandon your Google number, which gives you several months to change your mind and use Google Voice again, should you find it necessary.

Disable Google Voice

Google Voice is a sophisticated system so there is no single place to "turn it off".

Google Voice exists in pieces and you may have to disable each piece separately in order to totally disable Google Voice.

Following are general steps to "disable" Google Voice.

1. Effective immediately, don't give out your Google number and tell those who know your Google number not to call it anymore.

2. Log into your Google Voice account using a computer (not a mobile device browser) and remove all check marks ☑ from all your verified forwarding telephones on the Phones tab in Google Voice settings ⚙ (gear icon).

3. Enable Google Voice

Do Not Disturb

(to prevent Google Voice calls ringing your personal phones).

4. If you enabled Google Voice voicemail for your cell phone, disable Google Voice voicemail now.

5. If you don't think you'll use Google Voice again you can delete your Google number (your account and History will remain accessible on your computer so you can listen to your call recordings and voicemail, even if you delete your Google number).

  Note:   If you don't delete your Google number now, after 9 to 12 months Google can reclaim your number due to "inactivity" and it will become available for other Google Voice users to select as their own Google number.
